Music Plant Lesson Policies 2011-2012

Thank you for choosing the Music Plant as your place to learn music. We offer one of the most respected and oldest teaching studios in Campbell River "where the students come first". All lessons are meant to meet the needs of the individual student, to encourage them to pursue their music aspirations to the fullest.

Lesson Rates:

• Session Rate is $20.00 CDN per lesson

There are 3 sessions per year, based around the school terms;
1) September 12 to December 17;
2) January 3 to March 19 (Spring Break);
3) April 16 to June 16.

The session rate applies to students who have committed to an entire session of lessons and prepaid for the full term. We accept the following methods of payment for session rates:

1) Entire session paid in full or

2) First month paid in full, with either post-dated cheques, Visa or Mastercard authorization for the remaining months of each session, payable on the 1st day of each month.

Payment is due before the student starts the first lesson of a session. Students who have not paid will not be allowed to start lessons until payment is received.

• Drop-in Rate is $24.00 CDN per lesson

A "drop in" student is a student who can only commit to one lesson at a time. Drop-in lessons must be booked at least 24 hours in advance to guarantee a spot and are on a first come, first serve basis.

Drop-in students must call in each week to confirm their spot, as session rate students have priority. The payment for each lesson must be made before the beginning of each lesson.

PLEASE NOTE:

There will be no refund for cancelled lessons, unless cancelled by the instructor. Make up lessons are at the instructor's discretion. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding the lesson policies please feel free to contact the staff or instructors and we will do our utmost to try and accommodate these concerns.

Student Recital:

We will have a student recital late in the spring session; the students will be encouraged to participate but are not obligated to do so.
